The vision of AIOHRD is to be the place of recommendation for education, clinical care, diagnosis, and expert opinion with special regards to infectious and parasitic diseases of both medical and veterinary concern, including neglected tropical diseases (NTDs) of humans.

The mission of AIOHRD is to become an eminent institution in the understanding of diseases in humans and animals through scientific endeavours and up-to-date cutting-edge research. Our approach is to develop new technology and knowledge for the better diagnosis, prevention and cure of diseases; to provide a clinical referral service for medical and veterinary surgeons in practice; to promote education and to communicate our findings to the general public and international scientific community
