Work from Home

Theresa asked me to work from home today rather than coming into the office, as with the poetry festival launching tomorrow there are too many meetings and people popping in and out.

She emailed my work for the day, namely to finish off the list of poetry reviews and quotes that I had started a couple of weeks ago as what I had sent over had now been exhausted. As well as to design a poster for one of the events at the festival.

I started with the poster as I knew that this would be the quickest of the two tasks and was also more urgent than the quotes. I tried to go along the same lines as the invitation I had previously made in order to keep a uniform style to the publications. I used Canva in order to create my design and once it was done emailed it Theresa for approval. She asked for a few changes which I made and then it was ready to be printed.

Following this I began the work that I had started a couple of weeks ago at home, finding quotes and reviews of the poets participating in the festival. Again this took me a long while as I really had to scan through many websites and read dozens of reviews in order to find a quote and an article that I was happy to post onto social media. Once this was done I emailed the completed list to Theresa and uploaded a tweet using these quotes onto Twitter. After this I was done for the day.
